Dr. Evertt W. Huffard is a global consultant and educator dedicated to the health and strength of congregational leadership. As Professor Emeritus of Leadership and Missions at Harding School of Theology, Evertt spent 32 years training ministry leaders, including 15 years serving as VP and Dean.As a partner in Hope Network Ministries, Evertt actively coaches church leadership teams in consensus-building and navigating the complexities of congregational change.Evertt’s perspective is deeply informed by his extensive international work. He has served as a consultant for hundreds of churches across the United States, Ghana, and Botswana, and has a long-standing history of equipping leadership teams throughout Australia and the South Pacific.A prolific author on the intersection of character and ministry, his latest book, The Honor of God (2026), explores the essential radiance of a leader's glory and reputation.

To help us grow in self-awareness and team communication, APEDS 2026 will offer a DISC Profile workshop. This professional assessment tool will be used to enhance our understanding of ourselves, gain new communication skills, effectively use our gifts in ministry, and manage personality differences in ministry.After completing registration you will receive a discount code to receive a 20% discount on you choice of two profile levels: Standard ($31.96 USD with discount]) or Concise ($10.36 USD with discount).The Standard Profile is recommended and the most comprehensive. It provides a detailed report on your leadership strengths. While the Concise Profile offers a shorter, high-level summary of your primary DISC style.Please note: The assessment is currently available in English. Delegates requiring translation are encouraged to work with a teammate to complete the online portion and the report.
